Frost Princess

Today was my first day back to work after being since and only sleeping 3 hours. Of course I came home and took a nap! It was ok but I don't feel enthusiastic about returning to a place I feel like I just left and didn't get to do anything fun this break. *sigh* So I was feeling a little subdued tonight, hence the blue themed image of my Pyre running through the snow.

I actually really enjoyed working on this and like how it came out. I seem to always nail the overall feel of an image when I do the backgrounds first. I also took a reversed approach to shading this. I didn't use grayscale and I started darkest shade and painted the lightest parts on. All in all, I'm happy with it. I love winter and am envious of all of you who get snow. It's hardly even cold here where I live in Virginia.
