Description
I was cleaning one day and found some old colored card stock scrap booking paper and thought it might make good practice for a white charcoal. I've never worked with white carcoal and figured I couldn't mess up any 'good' paper with it so why not see what I could do with it. 
It's a fun effect. I got the same look in Photoshop recently and am pleased I could relativity do it on paper. This paper was a beast to scan though, you could see the grain and stuff. Maybe I'll invest in some colored paper soon, I don't know what it's called. I really need to take an art class one day to learn the uses of different papers and all the basic materials.

I have a big book about art materials and such. I'll have to dig it up and get the name and author of it to you because it's fantastic.
You might also consider taking pictures of these rather than scanning them since you don't really want that charcoal dust rubbing off on your scanner bed.
