Thick silence filled the night air, the fog, a crawling being over the show grounds. Gradually, a soft breath could be heard; inhaling and exhaling accompanied by the solid march of hooves. Along a candle-lit path Braydan moved through the shadows, his muscles illuminated, dancing with the flicker of the flames.

I loved every minute of working on this-for once. Maybe it was because I was watching the seasons of Gargoyles while working on it. Also, I would listen to the audio book of A Dance With Dragons. So, a lot of dark eerie inspiration went into this, and I liked it. Braydan seems to bring these kinds of atmospheres on himself.
