Ooh, how exciting! London is a great city, it's so interesting and bafflingly busy to a country dweller like me! Lol. There is generally free wi-fi in cafes and places like McDonald's (of which there are loads :/). The weather here in all of England has just been the wettest April on record, and we're set for more up until June, so pack so waterproofs! It's not particularly cold though. However, having said that, today is a scorcher so bring nice clothes too. The British weather has its own agenda. Hope you have a great time!
...And the decent thing for them to do would have been to apologise, state she didn't know it was stolen, remove it immediately and offer to talk to the person who asked her to put it there who clearly did steal it, and sort it out. Not respond to you in that rude manner. I hate people!!
Indeed! So I just messaged the mod, copied my message and the other girls message and hope they deal with it. I can't monitor this because I'm leaving Saturday! But yes, you would think people would know how to respond to a polite message.
Even if she didn't directly take it from your page it is still stealing. It's like saying "I found it on google!" As a defense for copyright infringement. She is liable, especially since she now knows that her client did not have rights or permission to use the work. I would contact the webmaster/owner/moderators of Howrse.
[link] Not sure if you were aware of this also. Every now and then I take my art image location and pop it into googles image search...it finds sites that it's on. I can't read this, I'm not sure if they are claiming it as their own or showcasing horse art :/
Just message a moderator about it. It's not worth the time arguing with people on there, very few people get the concept of art theft. Moderators are getting a lot quicker about art theft issues these days.
Mm you could probably do that, I've never tried it so not sure how quickly they respond to those reports... otherwise, I would send a message to any of the moderators ( [link] any of the people with green names at the top of this page). They tend to deal with things quite quickly. You could check for one that is online (if you click on their profile, in the info box there'll be a thing that says "seen recently", if it says secret then they're either invisible or offline, if it says Yes then they're online). Otherwise it'll probably get dealt with as soon as they do come online, if you pick a mod at random.

My sister just came back from a semester abroad in London. She says that 90% of the time London is kinda cold and rainy. She used an adapter for 4 months and had no problems so you should be fine there.
I'm an hour from London. The weather is pretty dim all over. The sun came out today, but it is supposed to keep raining on and off after today. It's not freezing cold like it was a few weeks ago, but you will want more than a tshirt!! I think your laptop should be able to pick up public wi-fi which may or may not be free depending on where you are (usually in some places you pay a small price for a set amount of time - in Costa I think you get a free hour with your coffee). And I don't know about the alarm clock thing lol, that sounds odd to be honest! Could you use the alarm clock on your mobile phone?
Bring warm clothes!! It's dismal where I live but that's about 5 hrs away from London. The weather forecast says rain all this week some sunshine, highest temp is 19 C / 66 F on friday the 13th if that helps :/
May's meant to be our sunniest month, or it has been in the past, we have had a dry patch in London with the hosepipe ban and such, it rained all week a couple weeks back when my bf was there, so hopefully you shoud get good weather, here's the forecast for the next two weeks [link]
Looks like more sun than rain but it's still quite cold...but I'm a cold person, I love the sun. ^^
As long as you have a decent quality adaptor plug, you shouldn't have to worry about anything plugging in to sockets/outlets.
Weather at the moment is pretty grey and rainy though There were a few warm days last week though, so it's probably worth bringing some lighter clothes as well as rain gear/jumpers etc. The warmest it's likely to be is about 20 degrees celsius, but it's likely to stay cooler than that, between about 12 and 16 is normal-ish for this time of year.
well I live in england and have been to london a few times, so I've gotta say it's pretty unpredictable xD My brother's friend lives down there and apparently it was snowing yesterday 0.o Weird because it was sunny in my area I think at this time of year it would be about 10 to 15 degrees celceus, but given the snow it could be a little cooler. Depends on your version of skirt-weather really! Might be worth checking out the BBC weather website before you go to get an idea of what the first few days might be like - just don't put too much faith in it.
Normally your laptop will pick up a few wi-fi connections, but most of them will be password-protected. Some hotels do have wi-fi that you can pay a little extra to have access to, but I guess you'll just have to wait and see if there are any public ones. I've never stayed overnight in London though so not entirely sure about that - just how it works at the hotel my mum works at. Not got a clue as to anything you bring over from america I'm afraid though!
Clothes I'd advise jeans (skinnies are pretty normal to see all over England), and if you can get hold of a skirt and some leggings to take that would probably be worth it - it's been throwing it down with rain in my area to flooding-levels, but all of a sudden yesterday it got really sunny and warm Normally London is warmer than up here though, so it's always worth grabbing a small/lightweight skirt to squeeze in the bag just in case Can't entirely remember fashion down there any more, but it's proably worth taking a couple of hoodies to stay warm.
If you want to know anything else I can probably give you a rough idea - like I say though I live in a more northerly area of England and have only visited London a few times, never stayed there
Nawww have fun in London hunny. <3 and i know what it's like to over pack. My mum has a tendancy to pack a weeks worth of clothes for two days. _._ do have fun packing, and if you need anyone to baby sit your babies I wouldent mind. xD
